Challenge

With the design of new national ID card in place  a solution was needed to securely and quickly apply security features to card before the personalisation was added.

Solution

Card layout production flow and hologram specifications were determined with a world leading hologram supplier and the local ID card manufacturer. Government authorised entity procured four MicroPOISE™ Auto-Sheet Feeder Vacuum feeder PRO machines which would apply registered hologram to id cards multi up on a Teslin sheet.

Result

As of 2016 the MicroPOISE™ machines have been used to secure 38 million cards.
