Challenge
Deliver secure plastic cards which are easily authenticated using the eye and include covert features for more detailed examination. A simple, flexible, low volume solution was required to supply three types of card denoting access permissions to airside areas of the airport.
Solution
SFL led the design for secure ID access control cards. The principal security feature is Duogram®, allowing the card to be instantly authenticated by eye as well as identifying three different security access levels.
Duogram was applied with the MicroPOISE MK2 Auto-Card feeder PRO under full audit control conditions using unique SENTRY control system. Cards personalised at the point of issue within the secure conditions of the airport.
Result
Clearly identifiable access permissions for each driver. Simple visual inspection by eye and additional features to support higher level inspection. Flexible solution easily scaled to support driver changes.
